Mentoring and Technical Training Support Services

With over 45 years’ of active experience  in the Oil & Gas Industry, our Technical Director, Bob  Pearson  is well placed to lead or participate in peer reviews, especially for Unconventional and Frontier Asset Commercialization Projects. He has also assisted the technical representatives from Financial Institutions evaluate ongoing production and development operations.
Our approach to help project teams focus on a small number of key strategic issues that are material to the immediate decision; and to clearly define Risks and Uncertainty Management Plans for implementation in subsequent phases of the project.
Key focus area for our advisory services has been the identification of cost effective, Production Optimization and IOR/IGR Opportunities: and in finding innovative ways to add incremental supply at reduced unit discounted costs ($/Bbl. or $/MMBTU). 
A logic extension to Bob Pearson’s advisory roles is the provision of expert witness services for Regulatory Hearings or in the arbitration of intra-company or patent disputes.
Glynn Resources is actively involved in the development and delivery of e-training materials; interactive workshops and traditional short courses for major Training Organizations, like IHRDC and RPS Energy; as well as through various professional societies. 
Bob Pearson has undertaken a number of technical assignments were the main objective was to mentor the in-house personnel.

Championing Unconventional or Stranded Gas Development

We believe natural gas will be the energy source of choice for the 21st Century in OECD countries and the engine of world economic growth. Bob Pearson has a wealth of experience with the extraction of gas from technically challenging formations; in identifying field development concepts or field revitalization opportunities; and the optimization of gas well performance and dewatering. He is a former SPE Distinguished Lecturer on Optimized Gas-well Completions and Operations.

Bob Pearson is now helping to mentor and pass-on his experience to other professional service providers.

While many of the New Technologies for O & G development are initially commercialized in the US or Europe, early adoption and adaption to higher cost more remote or demanding operations takes place in Canada. This places the Canadian consulting industry in an excellent position to assist others with the next round of dissemination and adaptation to meet new challenges.
